OLD MAPS OF WATFORD
AREA AND BRANCH LINES

There was much competition between the London North Western Railway and the Metropolitan Railway  and in 1912 the Croxley Green Branch came into operation, linked to the Rickmansworth Branch from Watford at Croxley Green Junction.

In 1922 the Croxley Green Branch Line was electrified and with the curve between Croxley Junction and Bushey, direct services from Croxley Green to London were possible.

In 1996 passenger services to Croxley Green ceased.
